In New Delhi, due to increased demand during the holiday season, automakers have increased the pricing of popular vehicles and SUVs starting on October 1. This means consumers will have to fork out more money.

Mahindra & Mahindra has hiked the cost of its Thar, Scorpio, XUV 300, and XUV 700 models by up to Rs 81,000, while South Korean automaker Kia has raised the cost of its well-liked SUV Seltos and multifunctional Carens by up to Rs 50,000.

Hyundai, the second-largest automaker in the nation, has increased the costs of its SUVs Venue and Tucson by as much as Rs 48,000. Honda, a Japanese automaker, has decided to slightly raise the price of its well-liked City and Amaze models by around Rs 8,000. The cost of inputs increased last year, according to automakers, but they chose not to pass the increase along to customers at the time.
