One of the meeting’s highlights was the announcement of Somnath Mandir visitor engagement. Almost a crore people visit the shrine every year.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi unveiled a digital dashboard, marking a significant advancement towards modernization and openness.

This new gadget is meant to track data in real time, including the number of pilgrims visiting the Somnath Mandir, information on online bookings, Puja rituals, and the distribution of Prasad.

Insights and regular updates on the temple’s operations are sent to trustees via this dashboard, which acts as a digital portal.

Following the approval of the financial year 2022–2023 accounts, more administrative procedures were conducted at the meeting.

For the next year, the GST consultant and the internal/statutory auditor have also been retained.
