October 29, Kupwara: Red Wings Handwara emerged victorious in an exciting match in the Indian Army’s first women’s cricket competition, which culminated on Sunday at Bakiaker playground.
Red Wings Handwara upset Aushtosh Army Goodwill School Budkoot Handwara in a thrilling final, winning by a commanding 68 runs. Both the spirit of competitiveness and women’s cricket skills were on full display throughout the match.

With medals and thrilling cash awards, Aushtosh Army Goodwill School Budkoot Handwara, the runners-up, and the well-deserving Red Wings Handwara were recognised for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the competition.
Leaders of state and distinguished visitors attended the last game; the chief guest was Nazir Ahmad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara. There were several dignitaries in attendance, including DDC Rajwar, Mir Sulaiman, Tehsildar Handwara, Shahbaz Ahmad, and Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee Handwara, Bashir Ahmad Khan.
