Two people are killed when a truck goes off Zojila Pass and into a gorge

On Saturday, a truck that two people were riding in crashed down a steep chasm on Zojila Pass in the Ganderbal region of central Kashmir, causing both of them to die. The accident was reported in Srinagar on October 14th.

The official who spoke to the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO) stated that the vehicle that was travelling from Kargil to Sonamarg veered off the road and plunged into a steep gorge close to Mandir Mode on Zojila. This occurred near the Zojila region.

According to him, there were two fatalities as a result of the accident, and the bodies of the victims were located by the search and rescue crews.

He also mentioned that the police have taken the situation into consideration (KNO).
