Two people have been detained in Srinagar for mercilessly murdering a stray dog near Badamwari

The suspects have been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Beigh of Lal Bazar’s Rehmaniya colony and Adnan Shah of Hawal Badamwari.

July 24th, Srinagar: Two people have been detained in a horrific case of animal cruelty for mercilessly murdering a stray dog near Badamwari in Srinagar’s Rainawari neighbourhood, police said today.

An FIR (First Information Report) has been lodged at the Rainawari Police Station under IPC Section 429 and Section 11 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act, according to a police officer.

The suspects have been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Beigh of Lal Bazar’s Rehmaniya colony and Adnan Shah of Hawal Badamwari.
