25 July, Srinagar: According to reports, a Pakistani smuggler was murdered after Border Security Force (BSF) jawans stopped an attempt to transport drugs over the international border in Jammu.

An official said that during the intervening night of July 24 and 25, the watchful BSF forces neutralised a Pakistani smuggler who was attempting to transport drugs via the Ramgarh border sector.

He stated that the Pak smuggler’s corpse and four packages of suspected drugs totaling around four kilogrammes were discovered during the first check of the region.

The official said that more search efforts are being made in the region.
