In the meanwhile, Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) opened the recycling machine at Alamgari Bazar, and Bank’s GM and Divisional Head (Kashmir) Tabassum Nazir opened the CRM terminal for public use here on Residency Road. Both of these events took place simultaneously.

The top district administration officials, while speaking at these various sites, praised the Bank for its efforts to provide basic financial services simple, economical, and readily available for the people of Srinagar.

After formally opening the CRM for public use on Residency Road, the Divisional Head for Kashmir at the Bank, Tabassum Nazir, advised the people of Kashmir to take use of the Bank’s CRM service in a hassle-free and risk-free manner. “In order to provide an even higher level of convenience to our customers, we are increasing the number of regions in which we provide banking services via digital and alternative channels. She commented that as a result of the significant decrease in the number of customers using these terminals, the customer service provided by the branches that are near to these terminals has vastly improved.

In the presence of Cluster Heads Shabir Ahmad Bulla and Asmat Ara, Zonal Head Shabir Ahmad of Srinagar kicked off the inauguration ceremonies for the remaining eight CRMs. He expressed happiness on the installation of CRMs in Srinagar, adding that the recycling machines would go a long way in reducing the difficulties experienced by the public, particularly by local shopkeepers and businesspeople in cash-management. This was in response to the fact that the CRMs had been installed. “The customer relationship management systems will assist them in saving their valuable effort and time,” he said.

In the Srinagar neighbourhoods of Zaldagar, Jehangir Chowk, Jawahar Nagar, Nowhatta, Nallahmar, Maharaj Gunj, and Rajouri Kadal, as well as Islamia College, self-serving terminals have recently been installed. These terminals have the ability to both receive and dispense cash.
