Srinagar, June 20: Today, at the Raj Bhawan, a meeting took place between representatives of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the apex organisation of the Indian information and communications technology (ICT) exporters, and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

The Lt. Governor met with a delegation led by Its Chairman Sh Sandeep Narula to explore ways to advance the information and communications technology (ICT) industry in the J&K UT.

They also provided the Lt. Governor with an update on the efforts that have been done by ESC to help the government in capacity development and to develop a robust culture for new business start-ups.

Later on, the President of the Jammu Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF), Sheikh Muzaffar, briefed the Lieutenant Governor on a variety of topics, including the promotion of Sufi studies and the development of Kulgam and Anantnag.

He was joined by Syed Abdul Lateef Bukhari, who is the Mirwaiz of Central Kashmir, as well as Dr. Ghulam Mohammed, who is an Islamic speaker and Scholar.

In addition, a group representing the J&K Harmonies Choir headed by Saurabh Zadoo, the creator of the J&K Choir, paid a visit to the office of the Lieutenant Governor.
