Srinagar: On Thursday, Registrar General Shahzad Azeem issued an order declaring summer recess for the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, which will last from June 19 through July 8. “It is hereby notified that the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will observe summer vacations with effect from June 19, 2023, to July 8, 2023 (both days inclusive),” the ruling states. The High Court will be on a “no work period” from June 19 to June 24, 2023.
He said that the Chief Justice has appointed judges from both divisions of the court to serve as vacation judges for the duration of the break in accordance with Rule 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Rules, 1999.
The vacation judges for the Jammu Wing in June and July are Justice Rajesh Sekhri (26 June–1 July) and Justice Rahul Bharti (3–8 July).
He also announced that Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi will be on vacation from June 26 to July 1, and Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal will be on vacation from July 3 to July 8.
