On Friday, a fox attacked three people, one of whom was a little child, in the Lacchhe region of Handwara, injuring all of them

The fox reportedly attacked four people last evening: Saja Begum (70), wife of Mohammad Dayam War; Mugli Begum (60), wife of Mohammad Shaban Ahanger; Khalida Begum (28), wife of Shabir Ahmad War; and Ayat Irshad (4), daughter of Irshad Ahmad Ahanger.

The victims were first transported to a local clinic before being transferred to District Hospital Handwara.

When asked about the condition of the wounded, a medical staff member at DH Handwara assured reporters that they are doing OK.

“They are being administered with required treatment and are likely to be discharged soon,” the spokesman added.
