At least 19 people, the most of whom were outside workers, were wounded on June 20 in the Gagwal region of the Samba district when a bus in which they were riding plunged into a canal. The incident took place in Samba.

According to an official news outlet in Kashmir called Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the accident occurred late yesterday night when a bus that was transporting people from Smotra Chni to Gagwal plunged into a canal. This information was cited in the report.


He claimed that as a result of the event, 19 people were hurt, and all of them were transferred to a hospital in the area.

According to the source, the majority of those who were hurt in the attack were workers who were not local to Jammu and Kashmir.
