Srinagar, 6 June: The Power Grid Corporation of India observed World Environment Day in J&K.
Various activities were organised across all of its enterprises in the northern area II to raise awareness about the lifestyle for the environment idea. On this occasion, all of the corporation’s workers were asked to sign a promise to safeguard the environment.
In one such ceremony at the regional headquarters, Rajesh Kumar (Executive Director) and top executives planted trees to demonstrate their commitment to a greener and healthier environment. Kumar underlined in his speech that incorporating the seven LiFE themes into our everyday routines would help us live a better life.
Dr.T.R Raina, known specialist in yoga and naturopathy, also presented a seminar on “Adopt healthy lifestyles with sustainable food systems” to all northern region II enterprises.
