23 June, Srinagar: On Friday, a tourist at the Gulmarg resort in northern Kashmir was reported dead after falling into a river

According to a police official, Shalo Anand (46), wife of Delhi resident Sandeep Anand, was visiting the resort with his family when she accidentally fell into a river near Butapathri.

A rescue team brought her to a local hospital, where physicians pronounced her dead due to a head injury, the official added.
