Srinagar, July 23: Bhagwant University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Virendra Kumar Sharma said that Shahzada Qurat Al Ain has been appointed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harrisburg University in Pennsylvania, USA. Qurat has joined Bhagwant University’s Mathematics and Statistics department as a research scholar, with Dr Rajnee Tripathi serving as her PhD supervisor and advisor.
Qurat is a Kashmir Valley native who excels in the classroom. Qurat researched on generic structural characteristics and generalised probability distribution estimates. She presented her study results at conferences and published research articles on the subject in prestigious publications.
She was awarded a PhD in 2022 after fulfilling all of the prerequisites outlined by the UGC. Because of her analytical ability, she was instantly hired as a Data Scientist at the Schaffer Group in the United States. She was afterwards chosen for postdoctoral research at Harrisburgh University. Dr. Rajnee Tripathi said that Dr. Qurat’s objective is to simplify data analysis so that non-mathematicians may grasp it.
