Srinagar, Nov. 10: The Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) celebrated Diwali on campus today with great zeal and excitement from the students, staff, and administration. Rangoli, candle, and lamp illumination, as well as diya lighting, came next. The festivities were enhanced by the color and light. There were flowers all throughout the campus. Numerous cultural and gaming activities were also planned in honor of the day.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman of the Aryans Group, wished a very happy and successful Diwali to everyone in attendance. He also emphasized to the pupils the value of celebrating Diwali without causing pollution and urged them to light lights rather than play with firecrackers to experience the holiday in its purest form. Both the faculty and the kids had a great time celebrating.
