Police Register Case, Arrest Alleged Duo

29 August, Srinagar: A 19-year-old kid was taken to the hospital after reportedly being stabbed by two people this afternoon at the Government Polytechnic College Bemina in the Srinagar district of central Kashmir.

According to sources, an incident that started on the college grounds resulted in one Mehran Ahmad, the son of Parvaiz Ahmad Khuroo of Sopore, being stabbed and suffering injuries to his head, lower back, and chest.

The young man was quickly removed away from the scene and sent to JVC Hospital Bemina, where his general health is said to be stable, according to the report.

According to a police spokesman, the incident has been investigated and the two people accused of perpetrating the crime have been detained.

Abrar Shabir, son of Shabir Ahmad Dar of Doniwari Chadoora, and Rahil Ali, son of Ali Mohammad Phaloo of Lal Chowk (now Dalgate), were named by the official as the suspected couple. GNS
