On July 12th, the District Administration of Bandipora hosted a Block Diwas at the Shokhbaba Fisheries Farm for the Aspirational Block Arin as part of the Jan Abhiyan programme.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed presided over the event, which was attended by the Nodal Officer of Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, the Joint Director of Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, the Assistant Commissioner of Panchayat, the BDO of Arin, the CEO of PHE, the R&B, the District officers, the PRIs, and the general public.
At the event, residents and PRIs announced the launch of many local development initiatives and praised the District Administration for its work on these initiatives.
Nayabat for Kudara and Surrender areas, housing for panchayats, new bank branches, ration supplies, Arin Nalah bank beautification, PDD billing questions, questions about dispensaries and Anganwadi centres, and public transport are all issues brought up by PRIs.
