The J&K government on Friday named BhimSenTuti, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the PHQ, J&K, as the Inquiry officer to investigate the allegations made against Superintendent of Police (SP) AshiqHussainTak.
A month has been allotted for him to finish the investigation.
According to an order issued by Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Home Raj Kumar Goyal, BhimSenTuti, IPS, IGP Hqrs, PHQ, J&K, has been appointed as Inquiry officer to investigate the allegations against Superintendent of Police AshiqHussainTak, who is currently stationed at the PHQ.
In addition, “the Presenting Officer shall be Jatinder Singh Johar, JKPS, AIG (Trg& P), PHQ, J&K.” Within thirty days of the date of this order, the Inquiry officer must finish the investigation and submit a report to the Home Department,” Goyal further stated.
