Dead Srinagar teenager discovered in Jammu hotel

The police have taken the situation seriously and launched an inquiry.

Srinagar, July 16: A young man was discovered dead in a hotel room in the Gujjar Nagar neighbourhood of Jammu, local authorities reported.

During the intervening night, a young man named Shaqir Mehraj Dar, son of Mehraj-ud-din Dar, a resident of Mehjoor nagar, Srinagar, was discovered unconscious in a hotel room in Gujjar Nagar, according to the news agency Kashmir Scroll. They said he was sent straight to GMC Jammu for treatment, but upon there he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, law enforcement has been made aware of the situation and investigations have begun.
