DPAP gets ready for a rally in Batamaloo

Srinagar, Oct. 16: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Vice Chairman G. M. Saroori met with party officials from Central Kashmir on Monday at the party headquarters in Sonwar to assess the political climate in the valley and to go over different matters relating to the party’s internal affairs.

A press statement states that many party office-bearers were present at the meeting, where they engaged in in-depth talks about various party matters and laid out a plan to further develop the party. He asked party officials to engage in vigorous activity in order to stay in contact with the general public, spread awareness of the party’s populist agenda, and articulate its vision for a brighter future for Jammu and Kashmir.

In the meantime, the approaching public rally of DPAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad at Batamaloo, slated for October 21, was also addressed. Party members were instructed to ensure that the largest number of workers participated in order to make the rally a huge event. The preparations are in full motion for Azad’s speech at a workers’ rally in Batamaloo.

Salman Nizami, Shoaib Nabi Lone, Mohammad Altaf Dar, and other prominent figures attended the gathering.
