At the EEPC India National Export Awards event in New Delhi, the Lieutenant Governor speaks

On October 16, Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir, received a visit from Prof. Sudhakar Yedla, the director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar, at the Raj Bhawan.

Laxmi, a teacher, and Bhyravanath, the general manager of United India Insurance Ltd., were with him. They also got the chance to speak with LG Sinha. Prof. Yedla gave a summary of the key reformative activities that have been carried out at NIT Srinagar since May 2023 at the conference. Both academic and extracurricular facets of the school are covered by these metrics. Academic changes include the establishment of a detention system, a restructured academic calendar from January-December to July-August, the creation of a mentor system for students across all departments, and more.

Additionally, remedial courses, student feedback systems, simplified training and placement procedures, and student exchange programmes with esteemed schools like IIT Madras and IIT Delhi are all part of academic advances.
