SEPTEMBER 7, BARAMULLA: Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha went to Sopore and inaugurated a number of construction initiatives.

He lay the foundation stones for the Jal Jeevan Mission’s Water Supply Scheme Parihaspora and Peripheral Parihaspora, which would cost Rs 57 crores, as well as the upgrading of the inner link roads between Sultanpora Goshbugh and Auglar, which will cost Rs 6.29 crore.

The projects devoted to the people and the new works begun today, according to the Lt. Governor, will enhance general quality of life and eliminate regional and socio-economic development disparities.

“Our commitment and religion is development. The administration is committed to meeting everyone’s developmental requirements without regard to their background. The Lt. Governor said, “We have effectively executed a wide range of economic activity, and historic changes are occurring in every region.

The Lt. Governor reaffirmed the UT Administration’s commitment to achieving the goals of the Jammu and Kashmiri people.

“Sopore has a long history of intercommunal peace and prosperity, but it has also faced some special difficulties in fostering inclusive development. In the last three years, the UT Administration has made a number of significant decisions that demonstrate the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and speedy development.

The Lt Governor addressed the crowd and urged everyone present to actively contribute to Sopore’s growth and beautification.

Sopore is now working to become a smart city. The populace wants contemporary infrastructure, top-notch infrastructure, and high-quality living spaces. The Lt Governor, we must collaborate in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari to alter the course of our aspirational cities and villages.

He also discussed the government’s initiatives for quick growth throughout the state of Texas in order to create a tranquil and wealthy community.

Today, many of the towns and communities in J&K UT show outstanding signs of all-around growth. All parts have a great desire for peace, prosperity, and rapid growth, and we have destroyed the ecology of war profiteers, terrorists, and secessionists, the Lt. Governor remarked.

The Lt. Governor urged the populace to guard against polarising forces in society by being watchful. Every person also has a responsibility to safeguard public property and the physical cultural legacy, he said.

The Lt. Governor responded to the requests made by the public representatives by assuring that the administration will look into every option to meet the legitimate demands in a timely way.

In particular, the development of Baramulla and Sopore received special attention from the UT Administration, which was thanked for doing so by Ms. Safina Baig, DDC Chairperson of Baramulla, and Ms. Musarat Kar, President of the Municipal Council of Sopore.

The Lt. Governor also broke ground on the MC Sopore Office Complex, which cost Rs. 1.96 crore, the Chinkipora Ward of MC Sopore Park Development Project, which cost Rs. 40 lakhs, the Mahrajpora Public Park, which cost Rs. 53.27 lakhs, the Open Air Gym Park near the Bypass Bridge Upper Ashpeer Project, which cost Rs. 1 crore, and the Vohlutra Shitloo Road Improvement Project, which cost Rs.

Additionally, the Lt. Governor gave recipients of several programmes sanction letters.

The Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, the Divisional Commissioner for Kashmir, Sh. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, the ADGP for Kashmir, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar, the Deputy Commissioner for Baramulla, top officials, members of the public, and a sizable crowd were also present.
