On the last day of his two-day official visit to France, Prime Minister Modi was the day’s Guest of Honour at the country’s Bastille Day festivities. The French president, Emmanuel Macron, invited him to come to France.

Saturday, July 15, saw the beginning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s formal visit to Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, will meet with Prime Minister Modi during his visit to discuss important bilateral matters.

After spending two days in France, the PM left for the United Arab Emirates early on Saturday morning.

Prime Minister Modi said his trip to France was “memorable,” and he added that his presence at the Bastille Day festivities made it even more so. He also thanked President Emmanuel Macron and the French people for their kindness.

On the last day of his two-day official visit to France, Prime Minister Modi was the day’s Guest of Honour at the country’s Bastille Day festivities. The French president, Emmanuel Macron, invited him to come to France.

“To mark the 25th anniversary of the India-France Strategic Partnership, a 241-member tri-service Indian armed forces contingent led by a military band also participated in the Parade,” the PMO said in a statement. The Punjab Regiment and the Rajputana Rifles Regiment commanded the Indian Army force.

The PM also met with French President Macron, with whom he discussed the whole scope of bilateral relations.

In addition to meeting with prominent CEOs, PM Modi and President Macron discussed expanding commercial ties.

Through his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Modi said, “The meetings with my friend, President @EmmanuelMacron were extremely constructive. All aspects of the France-India relationship were discussed. Expanding our collaboration in cutting-edge industries excites me especially, such as green hydrogen, renewable energy, AI, semiconductors, and more.

The Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be accorded a ceremonial welcome upon his arrival in the UAE, followed by a series of bilateral discussions and other festivities commemorating the visit.

Following the conclusion of his trip to France, the Prime Minister will travel to the United Arab Emirates, arriving on July 15 to meet with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu Dhabi. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said at a news briefing on Wednesday that there will be a ceremonial welcome, bilateral discussions, and other festivities to celebrate the prime minister’s visit to the United Arab Emirates.

According to Kwatra, Modi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayadal Nayan last met in Abu Dhabi in June, when Modi stopped there on his way back from the G7 conference in Munich.

The Foreign Secretary said that “they have since also met on many virtual platforms,” citing the I2U2 (India, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States) conference held in July of last year as an example.
