Srinagar, September 4: In a message on Teachers’ Day, the president and member of parliament for Jammu and Kashmir’s National Conference Party, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and vice president, Omar Abdullah, said that societies all over the world owe a debt of gratitude to teachers who not only impart academic knowledge but also ethical values and instill morality that shapes a student’s future and, through him, a nation’s.

When thanking all the teachers for their contributions to the development of the country, Dr. Farooq remarked, “Teachers deserve our utmost gratitude and respect; students in particular and society in general should always be deferential towards teachers.”

The day is honoured by the birth anniversary of a legendary teacher and learned individual, Sarvapali Rada Krishnan, according to Omar Abdullah’s statement. Additionally, my great-grandfather Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah began his profession as a teacher. His major goal has always been the welfare of teachers.
