December 24, Srinagar: Indian School Awards 2023 named Shemford Futuristic School Birpur, Jammu, the “Upcoming School of the Year.”

The school has been bestowed with this esteemed accolade in recognition of its outstanding achievements in cultivating a comprehensive educational atmosphere, advocating for global citizenship, and using inventive pedagogical approaches.

As the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor, Honorable Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (Retd. Indian Army) handed the award to author and motivational speaker Vivek Atray, ex-IAS. At the award event in Chandigarh, the Shemford Futuristic School’s administrative officer, Ankita Choudhary, and headmaster, Sushma Choudhary, accepted the prize.
