On Wednesday, two males in the Rajbagh neighborhood of the Srinagar district attacked a young man, injuring him.
Two males assaulted a young man with a knife outside Zero Inn Rajbagh, according to a senior police official quoted by the local news source Kashmir Scroll.
He said that the wounded teenager was brought to a local hospital.
The suspect attempted to flee the scene by jumping into the Jhelum River. However, BSF apprehended them, he claimed.
Two adolescents, one from Sonwar and one from Rajbagh, both aged 17, are accused of stabbing a 15-year-old kid named Haseeb Bhat. Kothibagh, IPC Sections 341, 323, 307, and 34, FIR No. 22/2023 PS. Suspect taken into custody and an offending weapon found. An arm injury, but the victim is stable, police said later on Twitter.
The officer said that a complaint had been filed and that inquiries were ongoing.
