On Thursday, the government of Jammu and Kashmir appointed Dr. Raghav Langer, Secretary of the Department of Planning, Development, and Monitoring, and Dr. Piyush Singla, Administrative Secretary of the Department of Revenue, to serve as the nodal authorities responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY)-2023.
Dr. Langer has been nominated as the nodal officer for the Baltal Axis, while Dr. Singla has been nominated for the Pahalgam Axis, per GAD directive.
“The officers shall closely monitor and liaison with all concerned agencies involved in the conduct of Amarnath Yatra2023, and shall report to Chief Executive Officer Amarnath Shrine Board on a regular basis,” GAD Commissioner Secretary Sanjeev Verma said.
