PNB MetLife, one of the largest life insurance companies in India, has begun a campaign in Jammu & Kashmir on June 13th.
According to a release, 180 locations in Srinagar, Jammu, Budgam, Shimla, Mandi, and Dharamshala have been reached by PNB MetLife’s awareness programme, which is part of IRDAI’s State Insurance Plan to increase insurance knowledge in rural and semi-urban regions.
The insurance company has been touring the country with road shows, bima rath camps, and nukkad natak performances to spread the word about the value of insurance and how it can help individuals and families feel secure in their financial futures.
Ashish Kumar Srivastava, MD and CEO of PNB MetLife, commented on the effort, saying, “I firmly feel that the IRDAI-initiated awareness push is a significant step towards enhancing financial literacy and fostering financial inclusion, helping to the nation’s financial growth and development.
