The 5th of July, New Delhi: A conflict between two groups of solicitors resulted in shots being fired on Wednesday at the Tis Hazari Court in the nation’s capital, according to an official.
An incident involving gunfire was reported to have occurred at the Subzi Mandi police station in the Tis Hazari court complex region at around 1:35 p.m., according to Sagar Singh Kalsi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North).
“When the police team reached the spot, it was learned that two groups of lawyers, including Tis Hazari court bar association office bearers, had allegedly fired in the air and no one was injured,” stated the DCP. “When the police team reached the spot, it was learned that two groups of lawyers had allegedly fired in the air.”
The official said that everything is operating normally, and that legal action is now being taken.
