A 15-year-old girl from J&K was "abducted" by two Kashmiri teenagers who were detained in Nagpur

Nov. 2, Srinagar, Kashmir: The Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday that they had taken two militant affiliates into custody in the Srinagar area of central Kashmir during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

Authorities said that Yawar Rashid Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar, and Basit Nabi Bhat, who both live in Saderkote Bala in Hajin Bandipora, were taken into custody by Police Station Parimpora near Shalteng Bund.

A handgun, two magazines, 28 bullets, and a grenade are reportedly among the items the police say they found in the detained couple’s possession.

A complaint under sections 7/25 A Act, 4/5 Explosive Act, and 18, 23, 39 ULA Act has been filed against the two, according to information obtained by GNS. The police have also confiscated a bike that was being used by the pair, registered under the licence plate JK15B 6856. GNS
