Snowfall at Razdan Top has caused the Bandipora-Gurez route to shut down

Bandipora, Nov. 02: Due to new snowfall at Razdan Top in the Bandipora district of north Kashmir, the authorities stopped the Bandipora-Gurez route to traffic on Thursday.

The only route between the Gurez and the Kashmir Valley, the Razdan Top, has snow buildup, which officials informed the news organisation Kashmir News Observer (KNO) was the reason for the closure because of the slick circumstances.

The authorities said that rain was reported in several places on the Gurez Valley plains.

Officials said that until the weather improves, there will be traffic restrictions in place (KNO).
