Srinagar International Airport now reports to Javed Anjum, an experienced professional in the field of international airports.
He formerly served as general manager at Airport Authority of India (AAI) headquarters before being promoted as director of Srinagar Airport.

He has said that improving system functionality and streamlining the traveler’s experience at the airport would be his top two priorities.
It’s worth noting that the airport is already operating at or near capacity due to the annual Hajj trip, which began just before the new director was appointed.
“Our goal at Srinagar Airport is to provide the most convenient and accommodating services possible to Hajj pilgrims,” he stated.
