31 October, Srinagar: On Tuesday, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) ordered that all schools in Kashmir adjust their schedules as of November 1.

Schools inside the Srinagar district’s municipal bounds will continue to operate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in accordance with the directive.

Schools in districts and parts of Kashmir province that are not inside the city borders of Srinagar have set a timetable of 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

The revised schedule will take effect on November 1, 2023, in accordance with the directive.

“Every institution involved is required to follow the directives and guidelines to the letter. This directive states that any departure will be taken extremely severely.
