Humhama hosts an anti-encroachment effort

On today’s date (July 24), the Srinagar Municipal Corporation’s anti-encroachment squad went on a campaign against squatters along the Bagander Humhama-Wanabal corridor.

The SMC claimed in a statement that Humhama, a Ward officer, oversaw the effort.

Efforts were undertaken during the campaign to clear up illegal structures from the sidewalks and streets in front of stores. Roads and storefronts that had been blocked by stones and barricades were cleared. The ward officer vowed to keep up the fight against lawbreakers.

Residents, meanwhile, praised SMC’s effort.
