24 September, Srinagar By apprehending 05 hybrid terrorists of the outlawed terrorist group LeT, the police and security forces have dismantled two terror modules in Kulgam. According to police, a sizable stockpile of weapons and ammunition were also retrieved from their possession.

Five hybrid LeT terrorists were detained by Kulgam police, the Army (1st RR & 9RR), and the CRPF (18 Bn & 46 BN), according to a statement from the police department. This resulted in the dismantling of two terror modules.

They were found to be in possession of incriminating items, including two pistols, three hand grenades, one UBGL, two pistol magazines, 12 pistol rounds, and 21 AK-47 rounds.

Aitmad Ahmad Laway son of Abdul Rashid Laway resident of Brazilian Jageer, Mehraj Ahmad Lone son of Bashir Ahmad Lone resident of Hawoora, and Sabzar Ahmad Khaar son of Ghulam Mohammad Khar resident of Ghat Redwani Payeen have been identified as the individuals.

As a result, cases under pertinent legal provisions have been lodged, and further investigation has been started.
