New Delhi: Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress parliamentary party, was checked into Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi with signs of a moderate fever. She is being watched over by a medical staff of professionals. According to reports cited by news agency ANI, her status is steady right now.
The Congressman had previously undergone hospitalisation for the management of a viral respiratory illness. She most recently appeared in public at the I.N.D.I. A meeting of the opposition coalition was held on September 1 in Mumbai.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi, the mother of the Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, joined her at the recent I.N.D.I.A. bloc meeting in Mumbai. She travelled with Rahul Gandhi to Srinagar last month after he spent a week in the Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh and spoke at a rally in Kargil. The journey to Srinagar was exclusively for a private family outing.
It is remarkable that Sonia Gandhi, who is 76 years old, is still actively involved in politics, attending events, and managing her stress. Her health has been impacted by this, however.
