Srinagar’s University of Kashmir (KU) kicked up a three-day eye screening programme on Thursday for faculty and staff.
According to a press release from the university, KU Vice Chancellor Professor Nilofer Khan opened the camp, which was put on by the Kashmir University Health Centre (KUHC) in conjunction with the Kashmir Eye Hospital to offer comprehensive eye care for KU staff.
Prof. Khan toured the various areas where the personnel were being screened by specialists and remarked on how well organised everything was.
She went through the several amenities offered at the KUHC and promised to keep improving them for the benefit of the students and staff.
During the course of the three-day programme, a team of physicians would examine each employee for amblyopia, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, squint eye, and refractive errors.
