A guy from the Arnas region of Reasi who was 21 years old and had drowned in the Suktoh river has been found dead in Srinagar.
The tragedy occurred in the hamlet of Irwan Khanetar, which is located close to the town of Rajouri. The corpse of the dead was pulled from the river by local divers and a team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
The locals said that Joginder Singh, son of Punjab Singh, resident of Arnas Reasi, was present in Irwan Khanetar village along with several of his buddies, and that they had gone to Rajouri to work as workers.
The dead was taking a bath in a nearby river when he drowned, according to residents. The corpse of the deceased was recovered from the body of water by local diver Kamal Kishore and other locals with the assistance of a team from the SDRF.
According to reports, law enforcement has opened an investigation into the incident.
