Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha made the following statement on Tuesday, October 31 in Srinagar: “Citizens of J&K UT must resolve that we will work with great unity and a single objective to make our nation a developed country by 2047.”

He said this after Srinagar’s ‘Run for Unity’ was launched on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday.

According to the Office of LG X account on Twitter, his remarks at Bakshi Stadium and Raj Bhavan included the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” Pledge.

LG Sinha said that Sardar Patel’s statesmanship, fortitude, and bravery helped unite the nation and protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty so that future generations might do the same.

“Let us reawaken the values and vision propagated by Sardar Patel and work for peace, harmony, and prosperity in society,” he said.
