An Army soldier committed suicide on Thursday in the Pampore region of the Pulwama district in south Kashmir, according to reports from Srinagar.
The soldier committed suicide in the Chandhara neighbourhood of Pampore, according to a report from the Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

As he put it, “police have taken cognizance of the matter under 174 CRPC.”
The official said that it was unclear at this time why the army guy had taken such drastic action (KNO).
